How do I make an order?

To order, send us an email, write, or phone your name, address and what you'd like!

Alternatively use the shopping cart available on our website.

Do I need a Paypal Account?

You do not need a Paypal account to use our shopping cart, simply choose the "Pay without a Paypal Account" option in the checkout.

The only option is UK Postage

All prices on the website include UK postage, if you are ordering from the rest of the World the extra postage will be applied at the checkout stage.

Can I change the composition of complete armies?

The proportion of different kinds of figures in our complete armies is historically accurate, and includes all relevant command types. Please phone us on +44 (0)7514 920039 or email Ian_Kay@sky.com with any queries about the composition of complete armies.

When buying complete armies, please note that cavalry are always considered 2 pieces, even when rider and horse are cast as single piece.

It is not possible to change the composition of our set armies; they are discounted because they correspond to the layout of our moulds. Our figures are sold individually, so we can put together any army to your own specifications -- just not at the discounted rate.

What is the cost of my order in currencies other than UK Pounds?

Non-UK customers paying by credit card please note that currency conversion happens automatically when your credit card is charged for the order in Pounds Sterling.

Do you have any more photographs of your ranges?

This website includes all of the photographs we have available at present.

Can I send you my photographs?

You can, but please can you note the following:

  • The photos should be of Irregular Miniatures

  • Alternatively, post them to a website, send us the address, and we can download suitable photos (see the next point).

  • If you send us photos you are giving us de facto permission to use suitable ones on our website, in return for an acknowledgement.

Can I visit Irregular Miniatures?

Yes you can - but there are some important things for you to note:

Firstly, we are not a shop, so we are not open on Saturdays.

Secondly, you must phone to make an appointment at least 48 hours before you want to visit.  That way you will not make your journey only to find that there is no-one here.

Thirdly, it helps us considerably if you have prepared an outline list of what you need when you phone to make your appointment.  That way  you will not be disappointed to discover that we do not have what you want to buy.

Fourthly, you will need to take care in our workshop and follow the guidance of our staff.  We don't want you to come to any harm.

Can I phone you with an order to pick up at a show?

You certainly can. This has two great advantages - you can make sure that we will be at the show in question, and you won't have to wait for your models, and you can be sure of us having everything you want (that's three advantages really).  You can always add to your order when you come to pick it up.

Are your models sold painted or unpainted?

They are all sold unpainted (the price or price code in the catalogue is for unpainted), but 54mm figures can be painted to order.

Can I get a discount?

There are two ways to get a discount:

Firstly, you can buy one (or more) of our discounted armies or battlepacks.

Secondly, you can join Her Majesty's Armed Forces.  As a soldier, sailor, airman or marine (apologies if we have missed your particular specialism) you can get a 10% discount on our prices, from July 2004.

Can I get a free sample?

Other than this, we would ask you to appreciate that as our figures are sold separately, and there is no minimum order you only have to spend a pound or two to see what our models are like.  For this reason we don't send out free samples.

How can I pay for my figures?

You can pay using:

  • A cheque drawn on a UK bank account, made payable to Irregular Miniatures.

  • A Postal Order (UK post office only).

  • Cash (but it is not a good idea to send cash in the post).

  • A Credit or Debit card.

  • If you live outside the UK, an International Money Order (IMO).  Ask at your Post Office.

What details do you need of my payment card?

We need the following details:

  • Cardholder's Name as it appears on the card.

  • The Card Number, all 16 - 19 digits (depending on card type)

  • The Expiry Date in the format MM/YY (where MM is the month number and YY is the last 2 digits of the year).

  • The 3 digit Security Number which can be found on the rear of the card printed on the Signature Strip. 14/2/06

SWITCH cardholders should supply the following extra details:

  • Issue Number

  • Start Date

What is the pack size that your figures come in?

10, 15, 20, 25, 42, 54 and 75mm ranges are all sold as individual figures, unless it states otherwise in the catalogue or web page.

2mm and 6mm are sold as ready based strips of figures.  With 6mm you usually receive one strip per price code. With 2mm you will usually receive 2 or more strips per price code (this is indicated by the number in brackets alongside the price code in the 2mm catalogue/web page).
